Volunteers are ambassadors of the Sandpoint Pride Festival so it is of utmost importance that all of our volunteers conduct themsleves in a manner that aligns with this mission.
Volunteer Information
We are so grateful for your willingness to support our community and the 5th Annual Sandpoint Pride Festival through your time and service! The mission and purpose of the Sandpoint Pride Festival is to affirm the dignity and equality of the LGBTQI2S community, to welcome and celebrate their contributions to society, and support the ongoing movement to secure their rights, freedom, and safety. Volunteers are ambassadors of the Sandpoint Pride Festival so it is of utmost importance that all of our volunteers conduct themselves in a manner that aligns with this mission.
In order to help us coordinate volunteers into appropriate roles, we ask that you fill out the following form as thoroughly as possible.
Volunteer needs encompass a wide range of roles throughout the two day event, from assisting with setup, greeting attendees, assisting with peacekeeping, and more.

This form may seem a bit lengthy, but it will give us all necessary information to arrange the volunteer roles and shifts appropriately. We ask that you commit to at least one shift, or more if you're willing and able!
This form will gather details regarding:
Your contact info
Volunteer shift preference for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, July 11-13th
Volunteer task preferences and capabilities, including Peacekeeper training availability if applicable
Volunteer Expectations.
1. Please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. If able, we will need volunteers to complete some lifting and moving of tables, materials, boxes, equipment, etc. Please inform us if you need light duty on your application.
2. Bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated and wear sunscreen.
3. Drinking alcohol while on shift is strictly prohibited. Volunteers are required to be sober when they check in for duty.
4. We ask that you do not bring young children along with you while you are volunteering and that you do not leave young children unattended at Pride Festival during your volunteer shift.
5. Volunteers will be assigned roles on a first-come, first-serve basis. There are a set number of volunteers needed for each shift and we will prioritize folks' availability as best we can.
6. Bring food or snacks if you wish. Food trucks and local businesses will be open and available for purchase. Water will be provided.
