Sandpoint Pride Festival is excited to announce a four-day series of events, feats, gatherings and curated SAFE spaces to celebrate our 6th Annual Pride Festival. Thursday, July 9

  • 5-7PM | Paddle to Pride Beach Party!

    Cheer, paddle, float or jump for joy alongside SAFE Board members Ammi Midstokke and Lindsey Zembower as they arrive at City Beach after completing their extraordinary journey of swimming the length of Lake Pend Oreille, from Buttonhook Bay to Sandpoint City Beach, where they’ll ring in the start of Sandpoint Pride Festival.

    Paddle to Pride is about endurance, which the LGBTQ+ community has been demonstrating for decades and more.

Friday, July 10

  • 5:30-7PM | Teen Gayme Night at Eichardt's Pub

    Calling all teens! Join SAFE for an evening of free ping-pong, shuffleboard, putt-putt golf, and other fun games! Meet new friends and learn more about Sandpoint Alliance for Equality! Thanks to Eichardt’s Pub, we will enjoy free snacks and pop!

  • 6:30PM-9PM | Queer+ Open Mic, Happy Hour featuring Megan McCormick & Amanda Fields!

    Join us for SAFE’s 3rd Annual Queer Open Mic Night, Happy Hour & Live Music. This is a free event with no age restrictions. Children (14 and younger) must be accompanied by an adult/guardian.

    Happy Hour by Matchwood Brewing Company | 6:30-7:30pm (bar open throughout the event and a portion of proceeds will benefit SAFE)

    About Open Mics: Our open mics are spaces where your true, most authentic self can be seen, held, and heard with respect and gratitude. Come share your poetry, songs, stories, histories, ideas, and dreams. Your Love and/or outrage. Our love is our inspiration. Our diversity is our strength.

Saturday, July 11

  • All Day | Out & About in Downtown Sandpoint

    Support SAFE businesses in the 2nd Annual Out & About Downtown Sandpoint event! Spread joy and spend your queer-friendly dollars at LGBTQ+ friendly spaces. Follow along our Out & About shopping guide to visit sponsors, restaurants, and partners who are not afraid to be out & about in solidarity with the queer community!

  • 3PM | 6th Annual Sandpoint Pride Celebration at the Granary!

    Gates open at 3pm PST on July 11.

    Main Entrance is located on the corner of Oak Street & the bike Path (Full event map coming soon!)

    All-Ages Welcome! ID’s required at at the gate.

    No guns or weapons allowed on-premise. Pride Festival is held on private property. Our business owners and local law enforcement will support the implementation of this rule if an individual does not comply. No outside alcohol or food on premises per Idaho State Police and Health Code.

    Food Court (located at the South end of Matchwood’s patio) will feature a specialty menu items from allied businesses.

    Beverage Garden: A beverage garden will be available featuring Matchwood craft beer and wine, seltzers, ciders, canned cocktails and N/A beverages.

    Water Stations: Water stations will be available. Please bring a reusable water container.

    Seating & Shade: Shaded areas and seating will be provided for gathering and resting. Please dress for warm temperatures, wear/bring sunscreen. Blankets and small beach/camping chairs are welcome.

  • 3:30PM | The Mighty PJAMRS Marching Band

    Join the Peace and Justice Activist Musical Rascals of Spokane for our opening live performance at the 2026 Pride Festival.

  • 3-6PM | 6th Annual LGBTQ+ Advocacy Fair

    Join 35+ advocacy vendors from across the Pacific Northwest who serve the LGBTQ+ community through advocacy, legal, and direct services. Ask questions, visit with new friends, stickers and more!

  • 3-6PM: Family-Friendly Activities & Art

    Family-friendly activities such as tie-dye, face-painting, bounce house, hoola-hoops, friendship bracelets, and other activities will be available for all ages! 

  • 3:30pm-4:30PM | Bingo!

    Join SAFE for free, family-friendly bingo under the big gay tent at Sandpoint Pride Festival!

  • 5:30PM | SAFE Speaking Program

    Join SAFE leaders for a short speaking program to acknowledge our land, raise a glass to joy, and thank the team of volunteers, sponsors, vendors, and partners who make Sandpoint Pride possible! Oh, and kick off the featured performances!

  • 7PM: Best of Sandpoint Pride

    Sign up at SAFE/Sandpoint Pride tent to enter the best dressed of Sandpoint Pride! Both youth and adult entries welcome and participants will strut their stuff on the main stage. Winners (chosen by volume of the crowd) will be adorned with glitter, prizes, and fame!

  • 6PM-10PM: Featured Live Performances

  • 10PM-1AM: After Party featuring Coral

    Join Coral — Sandpoint’s world-renowned producer and enthusiastic dance floor creator for a late night, 21+ experience at Pivo Peaks. This is a private event. ID’s Required.

  • 8:30am-11am | Official Clean Up!

    Enjoyed the weekend? Come reminise about the joy, sweat and beers while we clean up the glitter and help put the Granary Arts District back to it’s regular funky self. We invite you to think of this clean-up party as an act of gratitude to the hosts, performers, and volunteers who make Pride possible!

  • Rainbow Regatta on the Lake

    Our version of a little R&R! Join us on the lake for a floatilla of LGBTQ+ folks and allies to rest, relax, and recharge! Time and meet-up spot to be announced at @SandpointPride on IG! Follow us for deets!
